here is a link to the blue post about paladin changes in 3.2.  I like the tank stuff but unsure how the holy and ret changes will work.

Yea, we finally get an "oh crap" button, even if it is passive.

I'm coming for you...

Not sure I understand the comment about Seal of Righteousnes continuing to be the tanking seal...I use corruption...always have, and with the damage increase and the fact that it's now gonna do increased holy damage...I'll continue to use it.

Can't really speak towards the healing, because at this point a talented rogue could heal better then I could...Its sad I know...just as Cat.

One of the biggest problems with Ret pallies as I remember was that they were primarily burst damage dealers, with little to no dps over time. That made them great at PvP but not so great at PvE. In PvE we ate through our mana pretty quickly and if it's a sustained fight, we might become a little useless towards the end. The buff of Seal of Corruption should make us a bit more dps friendly in PvE. The fact that Exorcism is once again usuable on players should stiffle some of the "OMG they nerfed us in PvP"

Pallies being pallies...will undoubtedly cry and moan about these changes to Ret....but I say this having played a Ret pally...and even a Prot pally now...we are overpowered..especially Ret.

I think over all, they sound like decent changes. It'll take some getting use to, but it won't break the class.

Ret burst in PvP is absurd. You can literally blast almost anything down in a few GCDs.

Ret pallies in PvE in my experience do quite well; at least in WotLK I've yet to see them seriously hampered by mana. I know in TBC the ret pallies I knew chugged mana pots to keep up, but in WotLK they're strong dps. The real interesting thing here is the change to proc an instant exorcism, which at the very least adds a proc to work into your rotation. Without that, Ret pallies are a very simple SPAM COOLDOWNS RAR dps class.

Well truth be told I haven't been a ret pally since we were still raiding Kara. I had heard that ret pallies where he'll for everyone else in PvP though. I was never into PvP but the concept of being über had made it sound apealing.

I am a bit suprised to see the classes getting some decent changes. As a mentioned before I can't really speak to anything but prot pallies. There's not a whole lot that needs fixin, though I will say that my mana regen isn't what it use to be since spiritual atunement became something I had to spend talent points on.

But maybe that's got more to do with my play style then anything else.
